Rockin the Klamath is a day-long musical experience (featuring two top bands) on the bank of the Klamath River in Happy Camp, California, deep in the heart of the Klamath National Forest.
Rockin the Klamath starts at noon on July 16, 2011 in River Park, on Park Avenue here in Happy Camp, with an opportunity for newer acts to perform for a crowd.
1pm to 4pm – The first-ever community talent show which we’ve named “Happy Camp Has Talent” – a show of our amazing and talented performers! The crowd will choose the winner and the Chamber will award one $100 prize.
Walk in contestants welcome – report to the MC Java Bob by the stage to get a performance time.
4:00 PM – Jam session! All musicians are welcome to join in!
5:00 PM – The winner of the “Happy Camp has Talent” contest will perform an encore.
6:00 PM – Opening band – Second Son from Albany Oregon
8:00 PM – Our headlining act: The Spiral Kings! from Medford, Oregon!

Tickets: $1o for adults at the gate, $7 in advance through PayPal (by 7/15) or at the Klamath River Resort Inn, 61700 Hwy 96 (9AM to 9PM only). Children – $7 at the gate or $5 in advance.
To purchase in advance, see one of the businesses or people listed to the right. To purchase online, send an email to info@happycampchamber.org with you name, address, and phone number along with the number of tickets you wish to reserve. The day of the event you will pay for your discount tickets at the gate. Only those who have reserved in advance will be allowed to pay the discount rate. Reservation must be received by Friday July 15th at 8PM.
Advance group tickets: $5 each with purchase of over 20 tickets. Contact James at 493-2735.
There will be food and drink booths at the park as well as local arts, crafts, and jewelry vendors. Our main food booth features Chicken and Rib dinners from Pat’s BBQ Express in Yreka.
The River Park is a well-shaded venue to spread out your blankets or lawn chairs and spend the day listening to the music and watching the river.
